On April 1st Governor Ron DeSantis issued Executive Order Number 20-91 requiring all persons in Florida to limit their movements and personal interactions outside of their home to only those necessary to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities.
The order refers to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s “Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce” for the definition of “essential services.” According to this Document “essential services” include: Workers who support weather disaster / natural hazard mitigation and prevention activities.
JLH Tree Service provides the following services that fall within this category:

Arborist Consultation Services to Identify Dead or Hazardous Trees

Tree Trimming and Removal Services for the purpose of mitigating risk of injury or damage to property from hazardous trees.

Tree trimming or removal services for the purpose of mitigation and or prevention of storm damage.
For this reason our company is authorized to continue providing services to our customers during this time. We have implemented safety protocols to help protect our employees and customers.
During this time:

Our employees are practicing social distancing and are in compliance with the executive order both when they are at work and off duty.

We have implemented daily sterilization procedures for our vehicles and equipment.

If you receive an estimate from us at this time we will practice social distancing and will not attempt to shake your hand when we meet. Also, written estimates can be emailed instead of submitted on paper to avoid any physical contact, and payments for work conducted can be sent by mail or paid by credit card over the phone once work is complete.
